TRAGIC NEWS

The world is still reeling from the devastating disappointment last weekend - Rainbow & The Mountain of Life - Mungo's eagerly anticipated story of the continuing adventures of Leaf and his friends - was not published last weekend.

"Mungo has enough on his plate at the moment," an insider told us. "He is too wonderful to worry about trivial issues like dates and deadlines. He has spoiled his fans enough already with all his wonderful works. They're getting too greedy."

It's true - we are all dying to read Mungo's latest book. Let's hope we'll have good news on the launch date soon.

Mungo's head is too big. Who does he think he is? Every author is only as good as their last book. Mungo better pull up his socks or he might lose his fans.

Mungo is fantastic! The best EVER! No one can match his brilliance!

I'm sorry Mungo had to change his launch date so many times. I have also been disappointed this year with Dean Koontz and Lincoln Preston changing their book release dates several times too. :(

I guess Mungo's in good company then?

I hope Mungo doesn't have another book out, he is boring and a bad writer. I want to read more of Valinora Troy's work. She is an excellent writer. When is her next book out?

I think, Anon, that you are quite off the mark here. VT is all right but Mungo is EXCELLENT! He's not DNOTY 06 for nothing, you know!

I know why he is DNOTY 06 and it has nothing to do with his writing ability - two words JUDGE PAMELA - I'm not saying that Mungo doesn't have some form of talent (a swollen head perhaps)but Valinora Troy is an artist, a true gift to literature and her readers, and we want MORE!

ANON - you can't libel Pamela like that and get away with it. DN, I think you should delete that comment and post an apology or legal action will be taken.

It's clearly unfounded, as all readers of this blog know that Judge Pamela is the soul of integrity.

Anon, kindly apologise or we'll have to ban you from commenting here.

Mungo is an excellent writer, and won DNOTY '06 solely on his own merits, and is a strong contender for DNOTY '07.

I wish I.M.M. Murphy would produce Til The Moon Fails - her fans have been waiting for AGES! It's so cruel...
