The Revenge of Queen Rose was the best book on that list and it is a crying shame that it didn't win, however it just shows the current trends in publishing. Rubbish sells and rises to the top of the list.
It is a pity you didn't get a double whammy with DNOTY 07 and book of the year, Valpot. I agree with Inkpot, Revenge of Queen Rose was the best book of the selection
Well done Mungo, but Leaf was officially published in 2006, surely it is inelegible for book of the year 2007?
Such a hard list to choose from, they are all winners in my book. Congrats Mungo. Leaf is a masterpiece.
